Attached are artifacts that demonstrate my use of different tools to engage students.
Mixtures & Solutions
I created this video for my students to learn about Mixtures & Solutions with questions that followed the video. My students loved hearing me teaching them on the video.
This video has been translated to Hebrew and is being used in Israel to teach students about Mixtures & Solutions. Click the link below to view; turn on CC for translation.
Aurasma is an augmented reality app that you can use to create auras on images, objects, or anything else. I created these auras for my students to learn about how I spent my summer, and some interests that I have.
You can click on the images to the left, download the Aurasma app from iTunes, follow my channel (Sciology), and view my creations for yourself.
Project Based Learning
Here are some images of projects that my students created to teach others. In one, the students used discarded items, and reused them to create works of art to encourage others to reduce, reuse, & recycle. In another students created their own models of plant and animal cells. Students also created animal projects to showcase an animal that they selected and learned about.
